Dame Julie worked in clinical practice before moving into management and was included in the first BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour list of the 100 most powerful women in the UK in 2013.
Patients Association chief executive Katherine Murphy will also be among those giving evidence tomorrow (15 November).
Questions in the sessions will include the long-term sustainability of the NHS and social care systems, and whether sustainability and transformation plans will provide a solution to current problems in the NHS.
